You must register in order to join us for Shabbat. We will be releasing registration for all of our weekends in early Spring. We ask that you do your best to register no later than the Sunday before the Shabbat you are planning on attending. For example, if you are planning to join for the June 30 Shabbat, please register no later than Sunday, June 25.

Is Parents Shabbat for parents of current, past, and future campers?

Parents Shabbat is for parents of our CIT and Avodah classes, not for current campers.

is anyone able to join any shabbat?

We want to ensure that everyone who wants to join us for a Shabbat at camp is able to. The three community Shabbatot are open to any members of our community. We have several rules in place to help ensure the safety of all of our campers and visitors.

  • Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult/guardian from their family.
  • Parents cannot join for a Shabbat when their children are at camp.
I have special dietary requirements. who should I get in contact with?

We offer a variety of selections for our Shabbat meals, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options. If you have a specific concern about a food related allergy or accommodation, please contact Carly Zenker at czenker@urj.org.

My schedule has changed and I can no longer attend Shabbat. Can I get a refund?

Please do your best to let us know if you can no longer join us for Shabbat in a timely manner. If you cancel a week before, you will be refunded 100%. If you cancel any time after that, please be in touch with us directly about a refund.

Is Shabbat free?

Each Shabbat costs $48 and includes a reception, Shabbat services, dinner, and dancing. We do not want cost to be a prohibitive factor for anyone. Please feel free to reach out to Ariel Kurland at akurland@urj.org with any questions about financial assistance.
