Answers to all your questions about our 70th Anniversary Celebration!

Can anyone attend?

Yes! This is a family friendly event – all members of our community are invited to attend this celebration.

Do I need to stay the entire time?

You can come and go at anytime within the event timeframe. Check out our schedule of events as we get closer to make sure you don’t miss out!

What if I did not go to camp?

All members of our community are welcome to join in the celebration. If you did not get to attend camp, this is your chance to experience the magic for one day by participating in tons of fun camp activities, learning camp songs and seeing our beautiful site.

Will childcare be provided?

Childcare will not be provided during the event. We encourage families to spend the day together enjoying camp activities and sharing memories of camp with your child(ren).

Are overnight accommodations available?

No overnight accommodations will be available on camp. You can find a list of nearby accommodations here. We encourage you to book early, as accommodations fill up quickly for the summer months.

If my child is a current camper, can they stay at camp until I arrive?

All campers must be picked up from their camp session at the appropriate time and return for the event when it starts.

Is transportation provided?

Transportation is not provided to or from the event. We will have golf cart shuttles available to help attendees get around the camp grounds.

How can I schedule time with my group of friends/CIT class/faculty cohort?

We will have spaces for informal gatherings throughout camp, as well as a message board to be able to schedule times for meet-ups during the day.

What activities will be open? Will I get to go on the zipline or waterslide?

All camp activities will be open during the day on a first come, first serve basis. If there are activities you want to be a part of – make sure you get there early!

Mah Nishtanah? Why is the 70th year so special?

This is a pivotal time in the history of camp. We are excited to welcome all of our alumni home to relive the wonderful camp feeling, ruach and Jewish community that has remained the core of our mission for 70 years.

Do you have a copy of my CIT song?

We are in the process of collecting all CIT song sheets as part of our camp archive. If you have, a copy of your song sheet, please scan and email it to Alaina at ayoakum@urj.org. The songsheets we collect will be on display at camp during the event.

What’s the weather like at camp?

During the summer, camp is typically in the 80s and event 90s, and very dry. It’s very sunny in most places so be sure to bring sunscreen, hats and water bottles! You can check the Santa Rosa weather here.

Is there any memorabilia that I will be able to see?

Yes, there will be tons of camp memorabilia and artwork on display from all generations of camp!
