In less than 36 hours, Camp Newman is going to be something it hasn’t been in several months: Silent. Over 500 campers will be saying farewell to the bunks they’ve slept in, the cabinmates they’ve befriended, the counselors they’ve looked up to, and the utopia of camp life to return back home.

While campers are certainly excited to reunite with their families, leaving a place that has become their second home brings up lots of feelings – especially about what they’re going to miss most about camp. Here’s what they said…
