If your camper is nervous about what there is to eat at camp, have no fear! Our incredible kitchen team is ready to make sure this summer is delicious!
Below is a sample schedule for a two-week stay at camp:
Camp Newman’s campus is kosher-style. This means that meals will either contain dairy products (breakfast is always a dairy meal) or meat. Additionally, our kitchen team will always have gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan options for every meal. Campers requiring one of those options will be informed of how they can receive their option by staff members.
Something for Everyone
In addition to the wonderful meals prepared by our kitchen staff, the Chadar (dining hall) features:
- Throughout the day: Fruit and a sandwich bar with sunflower butter and jelly
- Breakfasts: Stations with fruit, yogurt, and cereal
- Lunches and dinners: Plain pasta and a salad bar
