Relive some of the best memories of Summer 2016 below!

 

Perhaps our favorite moment every Camp Shabbat is when we spread a shelter of peace over our campers and sing the Hashkiveinu. It’s one of the most magical parts of the service and one that makes every camper feel safe and loved within their camp community.

 

Another favorite Shabbat time is undoubtedly in the evening – when we all gather to Israeli dance!

 

Each Saturday night, campers wear their session colors and show their ruach – their camp spirit – by singing and cheering their hearts out. Here’s Rishonim’s session song to give you an idea…

 

Every year we’re blown away by what our social action-minded Hevrah campers accomplish. This year, our Hevrah campers spent the summer researching how to prevent gun violence, and visited with state representatives in Sacramento to present their initiatives. Here’s the video they created on their topic:

 

After weeks of intense study in the visual and performing arts, our Hagigah campers came together to show our entire community what they’d accomplished at the Hagigah Festival.

 

Every summer, our alumni from Camp Saratoga, Swig and Newman return to camp to sing their cheers and reconnect. Here’s a recap of last year’s Alumni Reunion:
